SIL celebrated its 4th Birthday on 27th October with a SIL Quarterly Drinks and Entertainment Extravaganza at The Caledonian Club, London's exclusive Scottish retreat. The night marked the launch of Scots In London's sponsorship with Scotch Whisky giant, Whyte and Mackay. Over 260 SIL attended what was a fantastic night - it rocked! SIL - from a handful of Scots in 2001 to a fast-growing, solid, diverse, dynamic, independent, apolitical, informal, passionate and enthusiastic network and marketplace of over 2000+ Scots and over 100+ Scots Clubs, Societies, Charities, Organisations, Businesses and Individuals in London today. broadcaster and presenter of many programmes for Radio Scotland, Radio Three
and Radio Four, introduces his highly acclaimed book by the same name
followed by Q & A " If you want to know how Britain works, you need to know
this, whether you like it or not." James Naughtie; " A terrific book about
the powerful Scots who have taken over London." The Independent.
