Dear Scots in London (SIL) (the largest Scottish network organisation in London - approaching 4,000+ dynamic, passionate Scots and growing fast),

Here's a message from Stephen Carter, a prominent figure within the Scottish Hospitality industry. As SIL expands it's networks, we're delighted to recommend your support for this inaugural Scottish hotel, leisure and tourism event, to be addressed by Scottish motor-racing legend, Sir Jackie Stewart.

Stephen writes: "Dear Fellow Scots, I would be delighted if you could join us for the inaugural Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland, Scots In London networking luncheon! This is the first time we have had an exclusive luncheon for all our friends and colleagues who are either based outside Scotland or who have strong connections with the City. The date for this special event is the 1st December 2006, and the venue is in the resplendent Palm Court of the Waldorf Hilton. This is an invitation-only lunch (please see contact details below if you are interested) and I am especially delighted that Sir Jackie Stewart will be addressing us on the day.

The champagne reception commences at midday with the Scottish themed, three course luncheon being served at 1.00pm. As HIT Scotland raises monies to "assist people to achieve their potential within Scottish hospitality" the cost for this unique event will be GBP60 per person. This will go towards our provision of Bursaries and Scholarships for the emerging talent of our industry. I do hope that you will be able to join us.

Please reply to: David Cochrane, Chief Executive, HIT Scotland, PO Box 14598, Milnathort, KY13 9WS. Tel: 01577 865231 or email david.cochrane@hitscotland.co .uk, please quote "Scots In London" if you are interested in booking a table, joining a Scots In London table or finding out more.

My very best wishes, and I look forward to catching up with you on the day. Yours Aye, Stephen Carter, Chairman, HIT Scotland."
