Tokyoblu, Scotland and Edinburgh's hottest rising stars (in the club world), according to the Daily Record, Metro and M8 magazine, will be playing in London at the Doon nightclub underneath Albannach, London's fab contemporary Scottish bar and restaurant, 66 Trafalagar Square on Friday 19th May and 16th June, 8pm - 3am. Hailing from Edinburgh Tokyoblu has built up a reputation as one of Scotland's hottest club nights since it's launch in 2003. With an all inclusive music policy fusing US, disco, funky, Latin, African, Chicago & Electro house Tokyoblu has continually packed in the most demanding, cutting edge party-goers right from day one. Featuring the DJ talents of John Hutchison, who was recently described in the Daily Record as "one of Scotland's most likely breakthrough acts of 2006" alongside Iain Gibson and the superbly talent Pepe Santamaria on percussion, Tokyoblu the club has been hailed by press and those clubbers in the know as Edinburgh's hottest party with a friendly, mixed, vibrant and very up-for-it crowd. 2006 has thus far seen Tokyoblu praised in dance bible M8 as being amongst the UK's 12 hottest club nights (May) whilst the duo's first two singles have amassed sales of 2000+ 12" with UK wide radio and club play and a host of big name support from the likes of Jon Marsh (Beloved / Fabric), K-Klass, John Jones (Hed Kandi), Jim Shaft, Ryan (Miss Moneypenny's), Trevor Rockcliffe (Fabric), Seamus Haji & Cassius Pickering (Gatecrasher).
